Imagine if you were spending a few hours having a good browsing session online, and all of a sudden you stumbled across a really good link to a post that you wanted to read. The post looked set to be everything you were looking for – it was exactly the information you needed, and you were waiting with anticipation as the page loaded in your browser.
Almost a third of 2011 has passed and I have one question for you:
Have you achieved everything you had planned to (so far)?
In the vast majority of cases, the answer will be “NO!”
So, as a small business blogger, you know what you want and you have all these good intentions, right?
A lot of bloggers, entrepreneurs or online business owners are using social media as an advertising tool.
With the use of social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Digg and many others, one is able to freely promote one’s own blog, products or service.
So, we should take social media marketing seriously, shouldn’t we?
If you’re even slightly long in the tooth, the likelihood is you’ve come to working from home after a long stint in the corporate world.
You’re familiar with the bureaucracy and hierarchy that any self-respecting corporate environment enjoys, and wrangled over stationery and who gets the best armchair, and sailed through the joys of going to the bathroom for an extended period while on flex-time.
My wife and I love going to shows – theatre, comedy events, concerts (or should I say gigs?).
We go out almost weekly.
Last night we went to see a UK comic / actor / singer called Bradley Walsh.
It was a very funny show. He entertained the audience. He flirted with the audience.
