Video 1:  Use keyword optimization to get on the first page of Google

Video 2:  Check the competition before deciding upon your chosen keyword phrases

So I shall assume you now have your best 6 – 8 keywords for your blog.

Now how do we use them?

One of the ‘must-have’ WordPress plugins is the All-in-one-SEO plugin.

I think the all in one seo plugin is one of the best plugins if not the best free plugins for optimizing posts and pages. But there is a new plugin now the seo scribe which is paid. I personally would like to see the big difference between the two

All in One SEO WordPress plugin is really a great free tool for the bloggers. I love to use it. It is easy to use than other plugin. I heard that the headspace2 is better than this. But i really do not know how to use it.

I’ve always found SEO all in one pack is very useful for my blog posts specially for optimization. It was not long ago when everyone was craving for a way to be able to optimize blog post and through SEO all in one pack it has been possible. Now looking at this video made me realize that it offer much more than optimization.
    Something everyone should try on.

@shilpy – I’m not sure much elaboration is actually needed. All in One SEO lets you tweak the default page title, description and keywords for any given post giving you highly targeted, on page SEO. All you have to do is get some backlinks to boost your page. How much more of a description do you need?

I am fan of “All in one SEO” WordPress plugin. It helps me to add title, description and keywords to my each post. I also use “Tags 2 Meta Generator” and “Category SEO Meta Tags”. These 3 are most perfect and useful SEO plugins for wordpress.

I use the “All in one seo” on my blog. Do I need to use headspace2 as well?

  10. Ian July 16, 2010 at 1:17 pm #

I am confused about using All In One SEO plugin, or any other SEO add-on. Many themes claim to be SEO maximized out of the box. Is anything else really needed? Will All In One SEO cause conflicts?
I am presently using “Amazing Grace” theme. Any advice would be appreciated!

I would always use an ‘seo’ plugin over and above what the Theme says.

I’ve never heard of any conflict.

    Hi Andrew,

I’ve used both All-In-One SEO and Ultimate SEO and both seem to work pretty well.

Ultimate Seo has some great SEO features for posts and the latest version has an anchor text feature to link your posts together.

What do you guys like better about All-In-One SEO?

    • Andrew November 5, 2010 at 8:24 am #

      Mike

I’ve never completed a comparision between the 2 but I use ScribeSEO and I know that works with the all-in-one-seo-pack plugin.

    Hi Andrew

Great post and the 2 videos on how to choose the keywords were particularly useful.

I have used all in one SEO on a couple of my blogs but tend to use SEO Pressor for most of my on-page SEO. I know that you have to pay for SEO Pressor but I think it is a very powerful tool.#

Have you used it and how would you compare the two?

    Thanks

    Neil

      Neil

I’ve not used SEO Pressor. What does it provide over and above ‘all-in-one’?

      Andrew

  13. Neil May 21, 2011 at 10:23 am #

    Hi Andrew

SEO Pressor gives a running % score for every page/post for how well the page is optimised and tells you exactly what is missing from each page/post and what is needed to get the page/post as close as possible to 100%. It also automatically adds alt text to your images if you want it to.

    • Andrew May 23, 2011 at 2:21 pm #

      Neil,

I understand now. Sounds like it is very similar to ScribeSeo which is what I use and should be used alongside the all-in-one-seo-pack plugin…not instead of.

There are various different Plugins for WordPress which help you optimize your blog yet in my view All in One SEO really is one of the most effective. However, Platinum SEO pack seems to offer a lot more capabilities.

    • Andrew July 25, 2011 at 4:01 pm #

      Kevin,

I’ve never used the Platinum SEO pack – perhaps I should take a look.

I have watched the first and second videos and made my excel sheet. I worked from 4-5 different site’s data, and narrowed my possible keyword phrases to 52 using my “x”. The problem is that when I cross reference words that sell with ones that are low competition, there are none that have both. If there is low competition, then there is $0 estimated spending. The closest I can find is competition at 120,000. Now what?

I think All in SEO pack are not only way to make your website top on the google.. It’s just help you put your title, description, keyword etc in a post. It’s help for SEO… But if you think this is the Best Plugins i think you are wrong.

    • Andrew November 24, 2011 at 10:21 am #

      Narol

      1. I didn;t say All in One SEO was the only way to make yourwebsite to the top of Google.

      2. So what do you think is the best plugin for SEO?

      Andrew

Hello – I’m new to the WordPress and SEO. I find your videos extremely helpful. I have a question. I built the keywords into the Home Title, Home Description, and added them all to the Home Keywords area as you suggested. My question is…do I then add these same keywords to the Keyword area at the bottom of the post page (under the All In One SEO Pack section)? Or, would this be redundant? Thanks!

    • Andrew Rondeau December 3, 2012 at 7:34 am #

      Caleb

Use other keywords that are related to the blog post.
