Another short burst of decluttering today. Only took about 5 minutes and I removed from my life:
- Foreign currency – no longer in circulation
- Some aftershave I really don’t like the smell of
- A one meter firewire lead
- Some old business cards for an old website I used to run
- A broken USB lead for an Apple Ipod
- An eye-mask
- A Broken CD
- One half of a heart rate monitor (perhaps I might find the other half!)
- Some headphones I got free on some flight across the Atlantic
- The empty box to my Power Balance band
That’s it – 10 things…gone forever!
I have so much more to do!
I think I could create a whole blog about the rubbish here at home….funny post…
Benjamin
I must admit, I feel like I could as well.
I have so much more to do (oh no…I’ve just thought about the rubbish I have in the loft!).
Andrew
Heh, looks like a random sampling of the stuff I have around my room!
I think we all should do the decluttering and remove things that we don’t need too
Haha, an eye-mask? Why? It’s good to throw stuff away sometimes per decade 😉
Albin
It was a freebie from a flight to the USA. Never used it.
Andrew
LOL… I have way too much stuff like this lying around my home AND office. CD-Rs with miscellaneous unknown files that I will never need or use, outdated cables that no longer work with modern computers, boxes and manuals for old items that I no longer have!
Fred,
So…you going to start to declutter?
Andrew
Corinne
I have drawers of cables…all over the house.
Will get to them soon!
Andrew
It has been so long that I tried collecting small things in my house that I don’t need. I remembered how fun it was reminiscing after seeing a thing that I have not used for a long time. I am expecting to throw a lot of things when I am done. Just need to schedule a day I would do this, I know this is going to be really fun.
Clarks,
I must admit, it has been fun and very rewarding. Throwing things away is great!
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
This is certainly interesting. I wonder what I will find when I unveil the content of my drawer – lots of empty pens, empty cases of tic-tac, old batteries, and what else? Hmmm.. I guess I should start thinking of clearing my drawer from unnecessary trash and clutter.
Felicia
You should! Do it…you will feel so much better.
Andrew
Clutter free one step at a time! I will start on my office table. I can have more than 20 things of rubbish I can easily removed.
Mika
We all have to start somewhere – at least you are starting. Many don’t!
