This week I tested out a new plugin on one of my “sales type” blog posts.
The purpose of the new plugin is to help generate more sales by adding coupon codes to your posts and pages.
Does it work? YES!
Yesterday I promoted Darren Rowse’s “Build a Better Blog in 31 Days” with the discount coupon plugin. You can see the coupon code plugin working in this post:
By Christmas You Can Have An Amazing Blog
I know it is only one test but I gained an increase in sales of 45%.
It was simple to install and set-up. Took me 5 minutes.
For more details including a launch discount go and see the plugin page:
Here’s a video of the plugin:

if this works then it is a boon for sure
Coupons rock! That’s one of the things I love about Rapid Action Discounts – you can add bunches of coupons all over the place.
Nice find!
Barbara
Think this plugin would help you?
Andrew
If it sells then it must be good! I guess people tend to go crazy when they see a deal. The one who made the plugin knew what he was doing, marketing wise.
By the way, am I the only one who finds it funny that a discounts creating plugin has a discount ?
Alex,
A little funny – I suppose!
Andrew

It maybe a good addition for your store.

Yep.. It looks like it is working, but I have to tell you.. I think your killer headline “By Christmas You Can Have An Amazing Blog” had a lot to do with it.. 🙂
The title may entice people to read the article – I agree.
But then they see the discount code and decide “YES!”…well hopefully!
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Wow, congratulations on the 45% increase of your sales, and with only one test!
installing another plugin on wordpress blog is it makes a sense as you install more and more plugin your blog loading time will increase and its better to provide coupon codes by writing a post.
Vivek
Only if the plugin is running in the background all the time or are neeeded during the page load.
Many don’t.
Andrew

I was wondering why so many blogs can have coupon stuff!
I have always thought it is coupon press, haven’t tried myself though.
Thanks for the video review of coupon code, i will try if i have money LOL.
i am working on my website,, and my boss said we need conversion, i got some,, but still i am thing how to increase it with in minimum time…
It’s a shame that i missed the coupon code. I heard that this plug-in really does increase your sales. Well, anyways i would still purchase this in the future. Not now though since i’m tight on budget. Thanks for sharing
