With the rise of technology over the past few decades, we’ve come to expect results on most things much more quickly than previous generations.
We want to see television on demand.
We expect meals to be heated in seconds.

If you’ve been visiting my site for any amount of time, you’ll know that I’m pretty passionate about the need to find your niche online. The reason for this is, with the amount of competition out there vying for space on the World Wide Web, it’s important to make sure that we carve out an industry specialism that allows us to set ourselves apart from competitors and offer a unique product or service.

In the early days of the World Wide Web, it seemed all you had to do to make a million dollars overnight online, was launch a site, sit back and watch the cash roll in. Everywhere you turned in the business world, there was another savvy entrepreneur who had managed to tap in to a unique idea and make a fortune.

Every now and then, I get asked advice about blog writing.
The problem with coming up with tips for bloggers is that writing is a pretty subjective thing, and we all have different styles we like to write in.
Which would you rather have – a business that runs your life, or a business that enhances your life?
Thought so.
The biggest factor in determining whether you have one or the other, is your list. Lists are the new gold. Everybody is into list building these days.
Thirty three years ago, I started my full-time career.
I was studying for a Computer Science degree and I got bored!
I dropped out.
I decided to leave.
I wanted to earn some money.
I gave up the degree course.
