You want more clients.
I know that…we all do!

Most people searching online are pretty smart.
They have already done some research and know what they are looking for.
For instance if you were looking for a garden shed, you most probably already done some preliminary research and narrowed down the type of garden shed you want.
You may want a timber one or metal one or something else. So you search for those terms rather than just shed.
Let’s say you offer hypnotherapy or counselling services.
Your prospective clients don’t search for hypnotherapy or counselling services.
They search for those services in specific locations and specific areas like confidence, stress, anxiety, weight loss etc.
If you are providing any type of service you have to get inside your potential clients heads and think ‘what questions do they have…which you can answer?’
That’s what they are looking for. They are looking for answers to their unanswered questions.
If you are a counsellor or hypnotherapist, get inside your client’s heads…find out what they are specifically looking for.
Then add content (videos, blog posts, pages) to your website that addresses those specific questions.
A great start could be ‘what to look for in a weight loss hypnotherapist” or ‘what to look for in a counsellor who deals with anxiety problems”
So if you provide any sort of service, get inside your potential customers heads and imagine and think about their unanswered questions. Then add content to your site that answers those questions.
People will find you on-line.
See you very, very soon.
Hi Andrew,
You Have raised attention to a very important aspect of online marketing. Doing bit of effort to understand the way clients think of a product or service can make us sell more of them. This indeed is a useful video.
Kumar
Agree – so many on-line owners dont do this simple research.
Andrew
Good point – Using Long Tail Keywords (aka Questions) on your website or Blog is a good way to attract this type of client.
Mark,
As long as you know what the client is looking for in the first place!
Andrew
being interactive with the clients is always going to help in any of the business. raising questions and giving the satisfying feedback always works!

Hi Andrew,
Its very important that all of us bloggers and online businesses have a better understanding of the way clients think of a product or service. This will help us to make better sales pitches and also ensure that they purchase our services. Loved the video and have shared with on twitter and facebook.
Thanks, Eddie and you are right. It’s just some bloggers don’t perform this crucial step…they just THINK they know their customers.
Andrew
Great point. The simple keywords are a lost cause. The long tail, and the right long tail (ie what your customers want) is the key. Nice way of getting the idea across.
Hi Andrew,
thanks for Sharing this Video. I am new in blogging field with low traffic to my blog. You have given nice idea to improve it.

Good luck – I hope it works out for you. Come back and tell us, won;t you?
Andrew
I have a strategy where i first think of a problem, then look for a long tail keyword that solves the problem and then start writing the blog post. Let’s see if it work out in a couple of weeks 🙂
