Buying the new PC made me start my decluttering exercise as I now have to transfer all my data across from my existing PC.
So far I removed from my life:
- Loads of cables
- Self-improvement CD’s
- About 10 jumpers
- Over 20 CD’s
- Over 500 pages of old documents and policies
- Foreign currency – no longer in circulation
- Aftershave
- Business cards for an old website I used to run
- Plus numerous things just not worth listing
And today I removed almost 4GB of data from my PC that I no longer need. It’s not that much but it was certainly numerous unwanted files.
But I’ve still got many ‘man’ drawers to go.
Do you know what a man drawer is?
Let the UK comedian Michael McIntyre tell you what a man drawer is.
Remember, while you watch the video, I have quite a few of these man drawers left to declutter!
Enjoy!
I always look in my cupboard full of leads and cables and remember an old The Onion headline and article about neighbours being stunned and amazed as a man throws away a box of cables. “Crazy! He’ll never know when he might need those!”.
I still have two scart cables despite the US not using the scart system….
Joel,
What’s a scart lead?
Andrew
LOL
Hey Andrew
Seems like I should do this every three months or so and even though this was European stand-up, he hit on just about everything I “hoard” in the States..funny
Cheers
Mark
Mark,
Glad you like the video – he’s currently the most popular comedian here in the UK.
Andrew
🙂 lol! He talks about me ha? I definitely know what a man drawer is, you can ask my wife too!
Corinne
Wel…I think more men than women have such stuff in their drawers.
Promise me you won’t replace the rubbish you threw out with more rubbish!
