Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been going to the gym 3 times a week. I must lose some weight!
I get there nice and early – 6.30am – just as the doors open.
You’d think I’d be alone or perhaps just a few of us…but I’m not.
There’s about 50 of us! Young and old.
All wanting to get fitter, leaner or more muscular.
At the weekend, I purchased a great CD to listen to while I’m sweating away on the running and rowing machines.
The CD is called: 101 Running Songs
It’s brilliant. It really motivates me.
Today, there I was running away and the song “Rock Star” by NickelBack started playing and it’s the first time I’ve really listened to the lyrics.
Here’s a video just to remind you:
The lyrics got me thinking about us bloggers and for a bit of fun, I came up with my own lyrics:

Oh, great lyrics. The thing is, I read it and without being familiar with the original song, I thought they WERE the original lyrics at first. I was thinking, “wow, this bearded biker scary dude is also a blogger??”

Serously loved the video and i can see where one would get a great workout listening to it when working out. As for the lyrics, maybe you have a talent there you didn’t know you had.
Don’t give up the day job though, I wouldn’t have anybody to fix my blog for me when I mess it up.

I’m singing this at karaoke, and when I have it down, I’ll get some help from my parody-master friends to record a music video of it. If I make any money, I’ll send you half by a PayPal payment, but don’t go to the bank on that. It’s not likely I’ll get views. let alone traffic.
This is the 3rd great parody I’ve run into. One is to the Fergie song “Glamorous” and the other is to “Redneck Woman”. I won’t elaborate here because your blog is more PG-13 than R or NC-17.

After 2.5 years my friends who did the “Glamorous” parody have 7,000 views.
The “Redneck Woman” parody view count isn’t available b/c it was done by a professional musician, and was recorded at a friend’s house as part of the friend’s YouTube v-log series.
