Sorry: I Am Not Replying To Comments (Temporarily)

sorry

sorry!

I am ‘playing’ with a new plugin called Standout Comments.

At the moment there seems to be a bug if you subscribe to comments after commenting.

You receive the emails telling you there is a new comment but there is no unsubscribe link.

This is a right nuisance and I have stopped replying to some comments because I didn’t want to inundate your email inbox – especially as you cannot unsubscribe.

I am awaiting the Standout Comments support team to respond…meanwhile I am very sorry.

I will catch up once the bug has been resolved.

Its ok Andrew, sometime we get busy lots that we can not reply back to our comment. I can understand the problem.

Understand mate. I hope you can fix it soon so you can start to reply the comment again.

Cute puppy pic! I am always too busy to respond to all of my blog comments.

You shouldn’t be too busy. People who comment want you to reply – so try and fit it in. The number of comments you get will grow, if you do.

Hi Andrew, I don’t mind if you don’t reply to this comment. I really think you are doing the right thing. You can always give me a shout out on Twitter though 🙂

I really think you should dumb this plugin and get a better one. Good Support is crucial and it doesn’t appear that they are giving it to you.

I saw another blogger with this same problem – no unsubscribe link in the email. Then on top of that, the email only gave you a partial comment. I guess that was in order to force you to go back to the blog. But it really forced me to label those as spam in Outlook.

    Cheers!

This is an odd way to not reply to comments. 😉

$47. I got a refund in the end.

Not too sure you could find ONE plugin that does it all. Several yes and then it could look a bit messy.

$47 for a comment plug-in? Could you please share the link to the site of this plug-in? I need to see what it does exactly for that amount

Could you please share the link to the sales copy of this plug-in? I’m having a hard time deciding what a comment plug-in could do to command such a price.

Seems like a nice plug-in with so many features packed in 1. Just too bad, it was probably tested properly before it was launched. The price still seems a bit over the top to me.

Ooops! I meant was not properly tested
