It would be a bit disappointing if you have been blogging for a while now, but you only get comments here and there. This is just the same as making a speech in public only to hear crickets chirping in the background.
A good blogging friend of mine, Tara Roskell, helps wannabe inventors, ideas people, artists and designers promote their work.
She shares many ideas and resources via her blog, http://ideasuploaded.com.
So…why am I telling you this?
A few weeks back she asked me to do an audio interview with her. The interview would cover how inventors could market and sell their inventions via blogging.
And the audio is now up!
Here are just some of the questions I was asked and answered:
I have mentioned this function time and time again…and still people are taking a chance.
Small business owners / blog owners always think it won’t happen to them…only to someone else.
I assume, as you are reading this you:
- Are a blogger / small business owner
- Are passionate about your blog
- Would be very angry if your blog was hacked or corrupt
- Would be even angrier if you could not restore your blog after being hacked or corrupted
If the above is true then you need to make sure you add this function to your blog:

You probably don’t realize it, but we’re at war! It’s an online struggle for readers. In this fight for survival, it’s only their clicks that save you. So, the goal is to grab these clicks before the other guy does. You’ve got to get their mouse-clicking fingers itching, and this is exactly what internet marketers know all about. But bloggers are missing the point and the battle’s not playing out well.

Guest blogging is a great way for writers to hone their craft and expand their audience in the process. Whether you’re a writer whose relatively new to blogging, or an experienced blogger, everyone can benefit from the additional self-promotion that comes as a result of successful guest posting.

I’ve made a huge decision for this year!
I’ve decided to quit blogging!
Yup, I’m not going to write blog posts like I used to in the past.
Let me give you a little background.
I’ve been blogging since 2007 and have written well over 2500 posts on my different blogs.
I often get asked the following question about the Income Blogging Course:
“Does the course cover auto-blogging?”
And the very simple answer is NO.
Auto-blogging does not fit with our principles or approach to making money via your blog.
Within the course we show you how to find your niche, how to optimize your blog, how to create great unique content, how to build your list, how to get traffic, how to build relationships, how to create products, how to write sales letters, how to outsource…everything that is needed to make money via your blogging on-line business without spending 12 hours a day doing it!
That’s a great title isn’t it?
What’s the best part for you?
365,000 visitors?
Red-Hot?
If you want loads more visitors to your blog without spending any more money…then read on…
Getting access to the blogging ‘big boys’ is difficult.
But with this product you can…
It interviews all the blogging ‘big boys’ (Chris Garrett, Daniel Scocco, Darren Rowse, Jack Humphrey, Jason Katzenback, Matt Garrett, Yaro Starak) with probing questions like:
If you have to bring instant visitors to your blog in the next 30 minutes, what steps will you follow?
In the last Blog Expert post in this mindset series we discussed clear thinking and ensuring everything we do each day fits in with our overall business direction.
In this post we explore one of the fundamental traits that many business owners ignore and that is ‘CHANGE’.
I was in a meeting with a customer recently, and he surprised me by stating with absolute confidence: “I don’t like change.”
Don’t like change?
Is that possible?
I paused for a moment and then queried his statement.
If he bought a winning lottery ticket, would that make him happy or sad?

Environmental issues are big business these days, as companies all over the world accept their part in reducing carbon emissions and minimising the impact which their business operations have upon the environment around them.
Wherever you look, it seems that there are sites popping up offering advice and guidance about how to conduct business ethically, making the shift from being a small business owner to a mini pioneer of green issues and environmental awareness.
It may seem to you that the small business owner has little to offer when it comes to being green, but this is actually far from being the case.

Today I was planning to do some blogging client work and keyword research for a new product I am working on. Then take the afternoon off.
But my plans went totally out of the window.
“Why?” I hear you ask.
A few weeks ago I was invited to be a contributor to a new free e-book by Michele Welch, owner of NewBizBlogger.
I was enticed by Michele’s words:
“Imagine for a second, getting your hands on an e-book containing some of the best articles ever written from some of the most active site owners/bloggers in the virtual world. Articles discussing topics such as SEO, keyword optimization, article marketing, affiliate marketing, blogging for money, competitive research, web design, etc.”
In the last Blog Expert post in this mindset series we discussed confidence and how it can help you meet your goals and targets.
Now let’s talk about communication.
How effective are you at communicating?
Great, you may assume, as you have been talking for years and as a veteran blogger you obviously have a great command of the English language and know how to use it to gain readers.
Detrimental To Your Success
However, the majority of small business owners who spend most of their time online often fail to factor effective communications in to their business strategy, and this could be detrimental to your success as a blogger and entrepreneur.
