Many people dream about working from home, but when it comes to reality they soon understand that it’s not as easy as they think. They come from structured 8 to 5 jobs and find when they try to start working at home they become too easily distracted.
We live in a world where we can’t go anywhere without being hit by a barrage of sales messages.
We sit down to watch a film, only to find that after a few minutes the television adverts come on, prompting us to buy things, try things, suggesting that we aren’t whole or complete as people unless we part with our cash for the latest products.
We open a paper, and every other paragraph seems to be a call to action for us to reach for the credit card.
I’m still decluttering and am thoroughly enjoying myself.
Over the weekend I went through my pile of CD’s that I have collected over years. These CD’s are PC related. So software, drivers, games, upgrades…that sort of thing.
Even if I say so myself, I have kept some rubbish.
Thing is, you load the software and safely store the CD away. Years later the software is out of date but you’ve kept the CD!
No longer!
I dumped all the ones I no longer need.
The photo is a bit dark but trust me…there are about 20 CD’s in that picture.
Think about it…the interviewer and the interviewee are both going to promote it. That means you could both be exposed to each others regular visitors.
But interviewing is not easy. You have to put in a lot of preparation.
Interviews are as nerve-wracking for the person conducting the questioning as the person being interviewed. In any interview scenario, there are always two people on show simultaneously, and both can be either judged or praised for their performance.
Though search traffic is highly targeted and cost-effective, there are other options that should also be considered in web promotion. The following are strategies you can use to generate targeted and profitable web traffic.
Blogging
There are numerous reasons why you should use a blog for building an online audience. First, it is an ideal way of putting a face to your message. Secondly, it enables you to reach the market instantly with your message. Blog services such as Technorati can offer great traffic. Remember to be a valuable and active commenter in the blogs of leading influencers in your niche.
If you’ve been following my blog for any period of time, you’ll know that I’m a huge advocate of getting a really great product behind you to sell or give away to your customers.
A product helps you in all sorts of ways – it brings traffic to your site, gives your customers a great insight in to the kind of services you can provide, and also helps earn revenue if you decide to charge for your product rather than giving it away for free.
Having said all this, a product will only do these great things if it is right on target and what your customers are looking for.
