Welcome Back! This is a DoFollow blog using both KeyWordLuv and CommentLuv, so please leave a comment and get a link-back to your blog.
To help find the best niche to blog about we are always told:
“Blog about something you are passionate about”
“Blog about something you are knowledgeable about”
“Blog about something that helps people overcome their problems/concerns”
And all that is true…
…do that and you have your best niche.
Gaining a blog income from your blogging efforts is hard work and quite often the amount of income you make each month fluctuates from month to month. You never know how many affiliate or product sales or new clients you are going to get.
Some months your blog income can be great and some months, pretty poor.
When I first started my on-line business I was recommended to create my own products and that’s what I did (and that’s what I would recommend to anyone starting on-line).
But even after creating your own products, you simply don’t know how many you are going to sell.

Pawan Agarwal Owner of MaxBlogPress
This interview is with Pawan Agarwal, the owner of www.MaxBlogPress.com.
Whenever I build a new blog for myself or for clients I ALWAYS install several of Pawan’s free WordPress plugins including:
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer – can save your wordpress blog from getting tagged as ping spammer
Max Banner Ads – easily rotates banners to overcome ‘screen blindness’
The business model that Pawan uses is that which all bloggers should use – give something away of value and they will come back and buy.
And that’s exactly what I did.
Today, let’s talk about how to get more people to follow your blog.
I won’t do the talking though. Instead, I’ll use this outstanding guest post by Tom Walker.
(If you want to guest post on this blog, check out the guidelines here)
When you’re looking for ways to increase your blog’s following, sometimes you have to think outside the box.
There are so many blogs out there that it can be difficult to find new and interesting ways to keep your readership coming back to your site.
Jimmy Brown, one of the most successful internet marketers is retiring…his products. He isn’t personally retired from internet marketing but he is retiring ALL his products including membership sites, coaching programs, ebooks, software programs, small reports, etc.
“Why?” I hear you asking because I agree it’s a bit strange to stop selling all your products, isn’t it?
He gives 3 reasons:
1. To free up time for personal interests
He does a lot of work for Christian based companies and he wants to spend more time doing that sort of thing.
2. To streamline his business
Guest Blogging – Why don’t you do it?
Posted by: Andrew Rondeau | Comments (28)We know that, don’t we?
So why do so few of us actually do it?
Here are my views:
1. The Fear of Rejection
My very first guest blog was accepted and published by the mighty Darren Rowse over at problogger.net. I couldn’t believe it. He wrote back within 24 hours of asking and said ‘yes’.
