Welcome Back! This is a DoFollow blog using both KeyWordLuv and CommentLuv, so please leave a comment and get a link-back to your blog.
In the first video regarding my approach to deciding on the best keyword phrases to use, I showed you the free ways to determine:
- the trend
- the number of searches
- whether it ’sold’ on-line
In this video I share with you another free way to determine the ‘competition’ associated with your chosen keyword phrases. This is the technique most bloggers ignore but it is absolutely crucial if you want to get on the first page of Google.
Let me have your views.

Is it just me or is the voice *really low* on this video? I trying turning my volume up to 100% but it’s still low so I’d miss some of the things said.
If you can’t do anything about it, I’ll try to watch it anyway – otherwise I think I’ll wait a bit for a re-post, cause it sounds interesting.

Klaus,
Sorry about the sound and thanks for letting me know. I use headphones and the sound levels are fine. I shall check my audio input settings in future.
You are right, this is key information which is critical before deciding upon the keywords to use.

I really liked the traffic estimation portion. I had not been using Google’s traffic estimator. In fact, I thought the only way you could access it was from setting up keywords in Google Adwords. Thanks.
