blog-incomeThis is how you can make a blog income…

Just buy one of the top 3 blogging products available on ClickBank (the links below are NOT affiliate links):

Product 1:

Headline: “The Most Powerful Blogging System On The Internet That Generated $1,107,693 From Just A Few Hours Per Week”

Sales page: http://www.bloggingtothebank.com

Cost: $27 (if you pretend to cancel first)

Wicked! Outlay is only $27, work just a few hours a week and get over $1m.

Lovely, jubbly!

Buy it now – what are you waiting for?

Product 2:

Headline: “Finally Exposed! How One Successful Blogger Rakes In More Than $132,645.00 With Just One Blog Spending Just Three Hours A Day!”

Sales page: http://www.atomicblogging.com/

Cost: $27 (if you pretend to cancel first)

Amazing! Outlay is only $27, work just 3 hours a day and get over $132k.

Not as good as the first one but I’m not greedy – I’d be happy with $132 for working just 3 hours per day.

Are you going to buy this one or the first one?

Product 3:

Headline: “Millionaire Marketer Loses Almost Everything In Massive Flood…Then Fights Back With Secret Blogging System And Makes $205,604 In 6 Months…It Just Takes 15 Minutes Per Day”

Sales page: http://www.bloggerspayback.com

Cost: $77 (took me ages to find the price – must be my eyes)

That’s expensive, isn’t it in comparison to the first 2?

But with only having to spend 15 minutes per day…it just might be worth it.

Imagine what I could do with £200k…relax…eat in fancy restaurants…buy designer clothes…

PLUS, if the first one with the headline, ““The most powerful blogging system on the internet that generated $1,107,693 from just a few hours per week” for $27, doesn’t work, you can always work 15 minutes a day and make $200k.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

If you REALLY believe that a $27 product can give you a return of $1m for a few hours work…then WAKE-UP…YOU ARE DREAMING

Yes, these are real products.

Yes, hundreds of people buy them.

But do they get the results they are ‘promised’ – I doubt it!

I have not purchased any of these products so I cannot provide a true opinion but call me a skeptic if I say…I simply cannot see that by buying a product for $27 or $77 and a few hours work each week is going to make you hundreds of thousands of dollars via blogging.

I’m NOT saying the products are NOT worth $27 or $77…I am saying they simply cannot match up to what they promise.

Why?

Ask any successful blogger how hard they work and you’ll see they work on their on-line business all day, almost every day.

Want proof?

Read this recent blog post by Daniel Scocco:

Interview: 12 Top Online Entrepreneurs Share How Hard They Work

Did you notice each and every successful blogger works hard?

Did you notice the comments were all in agreement that it takes hard work to become successful?

But it is not just about working hard…it’s about knowing what to do.

The products I mention above may tell you what to do…but after buying such products do you know what the most common 4-letter word is most purchasers say?

“HELP”

You see most money making products are full of decent theory. They don’t tell you the how and you have no contact with the product owner. You are suddenly all alone.

For instance…I know this is a simple example…but they might say:

  1. Install WordPress
  2. Do some keyword research
  3. Add the All-in-one-SEO plugin (or a good alternative)
  4. Start writing blog posts

Possibly in a bit more detail than that (well hopefully).

But many of the buyers, won’t know how to install WordPress.

Some may not know the 3 key rules of keyword research and start to target the wrong keywords.

Some may know how to install the All-in-SEO-plugin but that’s all they know – how to install it. What about the best settings for your blog?

Then you can start writing…for some that’s the easy bit. But what about all the different type of blog posts you can write and how do you publish them for maximum Google love?

If the products you buy don’t tell you, who are you going to ask?

There is no easy way to start making money on-line. No product is a silver bullet.

In our own Blogging Membership course, we have tried our best to be open and honest.

We tell you right up front, how much the course is. No spending 10 minutes trying to find the price.

We tell you it’s hard work.

We tell you our product is NOT a ‘silver bullet’ to making an income.

We provide numerous support facilities like private forums, emails addresses and weekly teleconferences.

We provide the best customer service we can – 77% of our existing members (who completed the survey) said their expectations of the course had been EXCEEDED.

You can find out more right here:

http://www.incomebloggingguide.com/stepbystep/

Obviously, I would love you to come and join us at our membership club…but if you decide not to…that is not a problem.

My only real plea is don’t buy a $27 product thinking you are going to be the next blogging millionaire.

What’s your view? Have you purchased any of the products above or others? Did you benefit from them? How?

What do you think of our sales page:

Classic! What an intro to a great article, Andrew. For me, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Why would anyone sell the secrets of making millions for a mere $37…. I know you & I wouldn’t…. 😉

I know, Yan – but so many people fall for such tactics. Must admit I did when I first started on-line, a few years ago.

    Andrew, thanks for this post.

Success in almost any field takes hard work that’s correctly applied, and that includes blogging.

  3. Alex May 10, 2010 at 5:05 pm #

Omg I have to admit that I love the headlines they are just so perfect to trick any newbie into buying those products.

But my favs are always these “Make 5000$ a day by the push of a button”.

In fact the theory is quite easy all the time. Niche research, keyword research,…

But unless you put tons of effort into it you will not even earn a dollar a day. You might know some broad theories but the key is you need to know the little details and little tricks.

And what no one ever told me in those fantastic ebooks… be patient. Rankings don’t come in a sec. Building a profitable website (counting your hours) don’t come in a sec.

Networking is really important in this business and checking out the projects of other internet marketers. Analyse their pages and sales copies.

      Alex,

That’s the point – the theory can be quite easy. It’s the ‘how to’ and those little details and tricks.

I’m glad you brought up networking – it’s a must if you want success.

There’s just one thing I don’t understand. What’s so wrong about working?
I would hate to see myself working only 15 minutes a day and then do what else?
I think it is a much more realistic goal to get to a point where you do what you like so it doesn’t feel like working, and try to see if it can generate some income.

Excellent post Andrew. It’s easy to see why people do buy these products. However, blogging by its very nature is something that will always require new content and some effort. Also bloggers tend to blog because that is what they enjoy doing. Blogs are meant to be ever-changing and interactive. I get really put off by blogs where there doesn’t seem to be any interaction with the audience. Of course, when a blog has thousands of followers or commentors you don’t expect an individual answer but there are ways to make your readers feel that they are important.

Your course sounds excellent and the sales page does an excellent job. I like the way that you give the monthly cost straight away. The course appears to be very comprehensive and affordable and is high on my wishlist as I want to be able to review it as someone who has used it. Although I have to say until I can afford the course the next best thing has been having you as my blogging mentor/caretaker through your new service. It is well worth every penny spent. I’ll borrow the headphones again on Wednesday when Matt is at uni for his first exam and we can talk then.

Anyone ever been tempted to buy one of these? Just through curiosity. I wonder what information they actually hold.

I think this is a big mistake a lot of people make when starting out, they don’t realise how much work you need to put in. In reality your strategy probably isn’t really that important, there are a million and one ways to success, but not a single easy route.

Of course, if you love what you do, sometimes it looks easy. I would rather spend spend 12 hours a day writing my blog than 8 hours a day sat in an office.

    • Andrew May 11, 2010 at 7:00 pm #

      Mark,

In the past I have actually purchased such products – not the ones mentioned but similar. Some are decent but tend to be full of theory.

I remember the days when I used to work 12 hours in the office and now I work 8 at home.

  8. David May 11, 2010 at 12:14 am #

I had used atomic blogging (product #2), most of the tips given are quite general. For example, the traffic generation section, he covers article marketing, forum commenting, blog commenting, submitting to social bookmark sites and blog catalog.

I have successfully set up my blog (first and only one) using the guide, and implementing those traffic techinques, but so far only get 20-50 visitors / day and haven’t got any income. Feeling very frustrated.

After so much hard work, I haven’t got any decent results, I felt that I didn’t not do thing in the right way

To be honest, I was looking at John Yeo’s blogger’s paycheck ($47) yesterday, undecided wanted to buy it or not, the sales page look impressive, but don’t know the content.

I also came to this blog couple times to study your income bloggging guide membership yesterday, hesitating whether to join or not. Also have been reading many of your old blog posts to find out more info. But i like your honesty that blogging is a lot of hard work.

But remember…we start right at the beginning…finding a niche, best way to install and set-up WordPress, that sort of thing.

It might be a few weeks before you really get into the course but did you see the critical extras? They can help…I believe.

  10. Vance May 11, 2010 at 1:29 am #

    Hi Andrew,

I was getting ready to contradict you as I was reading in the first part of the post.

And then you changed the tune to a more realistic one. Yes there are bloggers who make that kind of money working 3 hours a day but they outsource virtually everything.

As for the membership sites, I don’t know about yours but they too tend to be overrated.

The forum activity is kind of low and you still have to do the hard work yourself anyway. Trying a membership site for a month or two is the best way to determine it’s true value.

I have heard of membership sites that have only one month of content. If you stay longer you may see there’s nothing new. And the forum itself which is barely active is not worth paying the monthly fee.

There are some great membership sites but it pays to be careful.

    • Andrew May 11, 2010 at 7:13 pm #

      Vance,

I think it pays to be careful with any product – membership site or not.

Our membership site is 6 months and definately has 6 months worth of content – delivered in weekly chunks. Each weekly chunk ranges from 30 to 70 pages of content – I am going to say it’s great, aren’t I?

You say – “Trying a membership site for a month or two is the best way to determine it’s true value.”.

That’s very tru and why we provide a 60 day money back guarantee and only 2 people have taken us up on that so far.

We had a construction business way back when, and towards the end we made a lot of money in a short amount of time. However, it tooks years of hard work, and many mistakes, to get there.

  16. Tiffany May 12, 2010 at 2:15 am #

I hate to admit it but I have actually bought the Blogging to the Bank product. I believe it was the first addition that was released and it was when I was just getting into blogging. I was freelance writing and came across this product and thought, wow, I could write some blog posts and be able to make that kind of money. Wow, was I naive or what?

For some reason I still have the ebook in my documents and I took a quick glance at it and for what is included in the book you could find 100 times better info free on the web. I wonder how these products are still getting away with their titles with the new FTC rules.

I may not have all the time in the world to work on my sites but I definitely realize that it does take work and just like any business it won’t succeed without work!

    • Andrew May 12, 2010 at 2:50 pm #

      Tiffany,

Thanks for sharing your experience with that product.

I’ve had the opportunity to own both Blogging to The Bank and Atomic Blogging and the latter was a million times more helpful than the former. Of course if you’re expecting to make as much as they claim, you’re simply living in a fool’s paradise ;-).
