I Have Changed My About Page

As a result of my blogging guide video yesterday where I discussed writing your ‘about’ page, I decided to update mine.

I added a few testimonials, some pictures and also my blog building services.

What do you think, here’s the link: About Page

  3. I like the idea of adding testimonials. I think it looks good. The only thing I would actually add is some custom CSS styling for the testimonials.

You have a great about page Andrew, you almost tell everything about yourself to your readers or perhaps clients, that’s great! At least your readers or clients know who they deal with or whose blog they’re reading. Your about page is special and unique, I’ve never seen any about page in this way.

I like the testimonial part as well, did you request them to write you a testimonial or how you do that Andrew? :)

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,
    Lee

  5. Andrew,

  6. Hey Andrew, I am a first time visitor of your this blog site. I am about to build up a blog fro my site as well. That’s why looking for some good blogging and internet marketing tips. I found your website useful. Will be subscribing to your posts and visit quite often. Your ‘About Us’ page is unique and exhaustive as well as innovative, if I should say so. I have seen very few such ‘about us pages.’

  7. Thanks for reminding me. Spiffing up the “About” pages on my blogs slipped off my to-do list.

I like it! A little long though. I wrote a little something on the other comments about some with 2 pages – personal and business.

  9. Andrew –

I find your About page hard to read. People employ a scanning approach to reading webpages and for whatever reason, I do not find your update easy to scan. I would suggest maybe breaking it up into separate pages, or providing some sort of “table of contents” at the start of the page.

  10. Andrew –

I took your article plus a look at my Google analytics stats as an inspiration to update my “About” page. I would appreciate any feedback you or your audience may have on it.

    Thanks!
