A video tutorial always a great way to understand things clearly. I think I already know the use of Google Analyst. So, I just past it to my twitter followers.

Good video. My question though is about an advanced tactic:
Have you ever tried using Wordpress / Google Analytics to do arbitrage? i.e. have you ever paid for traffic to a blog that was already getting search, direct, social traffic etc.
If so how did you determine how well the paid traffic converted on ads?

I use analytics for all of my sites. It gives me great insight. With that said I also think is misses some traffic. My local server stats show more people. (I know why google shows less but I still think it misses some legit traffic).
It also works well for sites that are run by 100% one CMS. When running several pieces of software make sure analytics is added to each so you are not missing traffic.
Your tutorial was very nice and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing it.
