Gaining a blog income from your blogging efforts is hard work and quite often the amount of income you make each month fluctuates from month to month. You never know how many affiliate or product sales or new clients you are going to get.
Some months your blog income can be great and some months, pretty poor.
When I first started my on-line business I was recommended to create my own products and that’s what I did (and that’s what I would recommend to anyone starting on-line).
But even after creating your own products, you simply don’t know how many you are going to sell.
Some days it’s ten and some days it’s none. All you can do is keep on promoting and keep on getting more traffic and opt-ins.
But still your blog income isn’t stable.
So you start to promote other products, hoping to earn a commission as an affiliate.
AND you grow your opt-in list and build relationships with your list hoping some will also buy from you.
That helps to stabilise the blog income.
Then you might offer such personal services as coaching or mentoring and you gain one or 2 personal clients,
Again that helps stabilise the blog income.
Then you might create another product.
This diversification (own products, affiliate commissions, opt-in list, personal clients) all help stabilise the blog income – which is what we want isn’t it?
But by far the biggest most stabilising blog income action I have taken is to create my own membership site – the Income Blogging Guide Membership.
In simple terms a paid membership site is a web site or course where you charge customers to gain access.
Each month your customers pay you a fixed fee and in return you provide access to certain documents, a course, audio, videos…perhaps a forum or teleconferences…anything really to help improve your customers knowledge of the subject covered by your membership site.
So how does a membership site improve the stability of a blog income?
If you have 100 customers all paying you $27 a month for access to your membership site…that’s $2700 of blog income every month.
Of course your membership site has to provide excellent, up-to-date and worthwhile content, month in, month out for people to continue to pay…otherwise many would cancel.
Creating a membership site can be hard work but the rewards are certainly worthwhile and if you are looking for a more stable blog income, it is the way to go.
To start my own Income Blogging Guide Membership, I first got hold of Yaro’s free Membership guide.
It is a really good guide that goes into the details of:
· The technology required
· Content and pricing your membership site
· Getting people to buy
· The pre-launch and launching of your site
· Reducing membership attrition rates
· Making sure everything runs on auto-pilot
· Plus more.
So it is definitely worth getting, as the whole guide is free…you can get it by going to this link:
http://www.webuildyourblog.com/yaro-membership-guide.htm
Just so you are aware, Yaro is about to open his Membership Mastermind Course which is the next step on from the free guide. So if you get his free guide, you will receive some emails from Yaro, trying to persuade you to purchase his paid Membership course.
In the paid course, Yaro goes into much more detail of what is required plus you get access to Yaro himself via a forum and regular teleconferences.
I did buy the full course because I wanted to build my blog income fast and have my hand held by someone who was already successful at building Membership sites, Yaro always over delivers…so it was worth it.
Of course, you may only need the free guide. If you are wanting to stabilize your blog income, I can really recommend you start thinking about building your own membership site and grab Yaro’s free guide .You can get it from here:

Andrew is highly knowledgeable about blogs and very customer service focused. I knew nothing about blogs and Andrew was very kind, patient, pleasant to work with, receptive and responsive. Work was delivered in timely manner and if I need anything done for blog again I would use Andrew. If you are looking for quality work, excellent customer service and someone that really gets YOU and your needs, I recommend Andrew!.
Andrew was kind enough to offer up his own time as part of an initiative to make the world a better place, and I was one of the beneficiaries of that effort. He spent an hour with me working on improving my bounce rate; he suggested several helpful strategies. Most importantly, he helped me with some key processes to help speed up my site, which had bogged down considerably with overuse of graphics. Andrew helped me get set up with Rackspace, which helped so much. From a load time of almost 30 seconds, the site sped up to about a 6 second load. Thanks so much, Andrew!
Andrew is an asset to our ongoing website and social media needs. He responds quickly, accurately, and cost effectively. Andrew plays a consultative role in many aspects to our online needs.
I was introduced to Andrew by a dear friend Corinne Edwards and Andrew as transformed by blog in ways that have reaped results. My membership has gone up and my blog always looks clean and easy to read. Whenever I send Andrew a request to check out - it's ALWAYS prompt and easy to understand. In my humble opinion he is the BEST when it comes to knowledge of the blogging world.
Andrew
is highly knowledgeable about blogs, and you can get your blog up and running
successfully and fast. Andrew has helped me immeasurably with
my blog and he is patient and good natured and a wonderful teacher.
Thank you Andrew for your patience in getting my website and on-line courses on-line and selling. You were fantastic in learning the delivery platform software that I had chosen and you were across the complexities quickly. Your detailed approach in setting guidelines and deliverables bought my focus back to where it should be and got the job done. Thank you for all your efforts it was a pleasure.
Andrew is the real deal and he knows his stuff! His customer service is superb and he gets your work done FAST! You won't need to wait around for endless weeks to see results. Most importantly he works on the site as if it's his own, thus you are assured that you will get the best quality service. I now give Andrew all of my new and old sites to work on. Trust me; you cannot go wrong with this gentleman!
I wanted a stylish website that presented my original abstract art in a visually attractive way. Andrew came highly recommended to me as a "no nonsense" practitioner. He does exactly what he says he will do: I give him the parameters to work within and he provides a quick and precise service. You will receive nothing but the best from Andrew!
The best blog builder, and the best blog maintenance, I've ever met is Andrew Rondeau. This fellow is an authentic professional in every sense of the word. He's lightning fast, knowledgeable, competent, a skilled listener. He goes the extra mile. He's able to share his passion for his work and products without being pushy. He as other great internet skills, too, but his most impressive attribute is mastery of website building.
I
was impressed with the excellent service.
I
approached Andrew in February 2010, because I needed to enhance the way I communicated
my business.
I have been online since 1996 and in that time I have been involved in the development of almost 400 web sites for my clients. I have worked with a wide variety of vendors and I have to tell you that Andrew @ We Build Your Blog has far exceeded my expectations. In addition to his vast knowledge and expertise, he is a genuinely great guy, who always goes the extra mile. I highly recommend him, in fact I only recommend him now for web development.
I've spent insane amounts of money in the past with former webmasters until I discovered Andrew Rondeau.
I
am very happy to provide a testimonial for Andrew Rondeau. All the parts of
the process of working with Andrew were a pleasure. He clarified what I was
wanting and he delivered it without fuss. He was courteous and prompt in all
his dealings with me. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to anyone
who wants work done on their blog.
I happened to stumble upon Andrew's website (WeBuildYourBlog.com) while searching for blogging services that would help me start my very own blog. I was a total newbie when it came to the blogging world. Fast forward 3 months and not only do I have my own awesome blog, but friends and family are actually asking me how to start their own blog and I am able to set their blogs up for them! In only 3 months under Andrew's guidance I went from total newbie to being sought after. Thanks Andrew!
Having worked with Andrew on and off over the last year, I have found him to be very patient, helpful and easy to work with. He is also very knowledgeable, supportive and a true expert.
Without Andrew, I wouldn't even have a blog -- I would still just be sitting here, staring at my computer, feeling confused and helpless. With Andrew, I no longer fear confusion and it's impossible to feel helpless. He exerts any and all necessary efforts to resolve any problem or perplexity -- quickly, kindly, intelligently, up to and including IM exchanges in real time via skype. I would urge anyone at any level of expertise (or not) to make the most of his extraordinary talent.
The
end result is a fantastic site that is attracting a lot more attention
and visitors than my old one.
Andrew
has extensive knowledge about internet marketing, SEO and building web
sites/blogs. His course explained everything in an easy to understand
way and I now have a web site that is generating me new clients and
producing income from internet product sales.
Hi, Andrew Rondeau here and this blog, my blog, will not lie to you. I will give it to you straight. This blog is about blogging, the Internet and sharing my experiences and advice on

Gautam,
Thanks for dropping by!
Starting and running a memebrship site is hard, hard work. Do not underestimate the amount of work required. But you don’t get anything for nothing…the rewards (not just money) are worthwhile.
Andrew
You are right Andrew it is actually not easily to run a site like this but if any one puts sincere effort then it is really not tough to get income out of this. I really liked this article and tweeted it too.

The problem we face is that there are so many ‘scam’ artists who ‘sell’ to the naive that blogging is easy and requires little work. Unfortunately it is the complete opposite especially in the first year or so.
Thanks for the tweet.
Andrew
Really running this type of site is not an easy task but the great benefits of running it is there is free long-term traffic to your sites and you can easily grow brandness and authority status for you and your business.

Biodun,
Your words are so true…as long as your provide quality content…if you don’t the opposite could happen.

Creating your own membership site is really hard work Andrew, but it will worth the effort as I can see your clear point about getting stable income stream, I still can not imagine myself managing a membership site with 100 members that they can pop up daily with questions that I have to answer all of them
* Knowing from you that he always over delivers, Yaro is a good example to follow, I actually like his work style to serve his members from what I have heard from you!
Good luck, we will always support you knowing you are a very trusted person Andrew!

This is really a good way to stabilize your blog income however you have to keep in mind that you also have to provide high quality information and services to your customers. Creating your own membership site means that you have to work really hard but then again, if you have the will and the determination, i’m pretty sure will succeed on this.

Very true. The membership site route is a lot of work, especially if you create an open ending one. That means you have to produced something every single month for ever!
