Welcome Back! This is a DoFollow blog using both KeyWordLuv and CommentLuv, so please leave a comment and get a link-back to your blog.
Yesterday I wrote a blog post entitled “How to make a blog stand out with brilliant blog posts”
Within that post, I spoke about sharing some stories about yourself to make your blog stand out and be different to all the other hundreds out there.
Last night I was talking with a client with regards to adding videos to blog posts.
The conversation and the blog post reminded me of a video a friend created of me a couple of years ago.
I’m not saying this is a brilliant blog post…but what talent do you have other than blogging?
Share yours in the comments below and let’s discover more about you. Anyone remember the name of the music being played?
Here’s my talent (by the way the domain name that appears is the name of my other blog):

I love your talent and I totally wish that I knew how to juggle! Amazing!
I love singing and reciting poetry.
I will have to post a video on my blog doing both.

haha! very clever, Andrew! I can only juggle two balls at one time.
I’ll share about my favorite martial art, jiu jitsu. I’ve been practicing for just over a year now. This weekend, one of legs on the chair I was sitting in unexpectedly gave way. You can imagine my surprise and concern. I managed to avoid smacking my head into the granite counter-top by tucking my chin, rolling forward and stretching out my left arm to “slap” the floor. We practice falling backwards in class. Amazing how talent in one area crosses over into other areas. Lucky for me, it’s become instinctive. Would have had a nasty injury otherwise.
Probably need to lay off the English toffee and other holiday goodies…seems to be causing a problem. lol!

I can juggle one ball. (Whatever is the physical equivalent to verbal illiteracy, I have it.)
My only real talent is getting to the core of something (a person’s problem, a set of ideas and stuff like that).

Yay, another juggling blogger! I once managed to work juggling into a blog post – something about how learning to pass clubs was an example of a quantum leap in personal development. I think it’s always nice to show a bit of your personality, hobbies, and quirks now and then.

Hunter,
Thanks for dropping by. I wouldn’t say I’m a good juggler. I just taught myself once – off the back of a cereal packet!
And I agree showing a bit of personality does help.

Chris,
Driving! Speedy driving! Please, don’t create one of those videos when you are talking to the camera while driving.

I juggled at one time, it’s been years though – up to 4 balls!
I’ll definitely be getting into some video blogging as well eventually.

Good ones!
I play badminton each week with my left hand. I am right handed but a couple of years ago, I got a bit of ‘tennis elbow’ so decided to play left handed. It was really hard at first but now it’s almost as good as my right.

If I’ve got any other talent other than managing my small blog, it would most definitely be singing. I do it a lot especially when I’m in the shower and I’m okay @ it. I think. lol

If I am not blogging, I am writing songs and do some singing practice. Sure, no one can survive blogging 24/7 even though they consider it as their talent. But, having some offsite activities like what I did to myself makes my mind refresh, relax and light.
I think blogging is not really pure talent since anyone can blog with minor supervision (though not anyone can sing, so it is considered a talent; check American Idol). The main question is, how do you blog your own talent?…is a much more appropriate question considering that the most effective ways to blog is sharing valuable information and most practically your own talent.

Any videos of you singing?
How do you blog your own talent? Write about it, podcast, video…it’s just blogging no? Some imagination is required.
