Welcome Back! This is a DoFollow blog using both KeyWordLuv and CommentLuv, so please leave a comment and get a link-back to your blog.
Twitter mania continues to rise in popularity. Millions are now hooked up with it. Some are using it just for fun but some are using it to make some serious money.
If you are on Twitter, here are some Twitter tools that will help you manage your tweets and bring more traffic to your site. Enjoy!
This has got to be one of the best tools around for encouraging visitors to tweet your posts. See the green button at the top of this post. This TweetMeme Retweet Button plugin simply and easily adds that button and visitors can easily retweet your blog post.
2. SocialOomph
With SocialOomph you can:
Schedule tweets: You can spend as long as you want creating Tweets and schedule when you want to tweet your tweets!
Auto Follows: This will auto follow anyone that follows you
Auto Un-follow: Simply un-follow those who un-follow you
3. TweetDeck
Takes all the information from twitter (tweets, mentions, direct messages…) and shows it to you in one organized screen. Saves hours especially if you have more than one Twitter account.

This application fetches all your friends and followers from Twitter when you click the “Whack!” button. You can bulk ‘un-follow’ those who are not following you and you can bulk ‘follow’ those who are following you. It helps you get through the 2000 Twitter followers bottleneck.
Twitter Tools is a plugin that creates a complete integration between your WordPress blog and your Twitter account. You can actually:
Create a tweet on Twitter whenever you post in your blog, with a link to the blog post
Create a blog post from each of your tweets
6. Twitoria
How many friends are you really following? Twitoria finds your friends that haven’t tweeted in a long time so you can give them the boot!
7. Twitter Keys
Enhances your Twitter conversation by enabling UTF8 symbols.
This plugin will add an extra field to your comment form so a user can add their Twitter username. A user configured ‘follow me’ link is then displayed along with their details on all their comments.
9. Twitrans
Translates your Tweets into different languages.

10. Twellow
Helps you find fellow Tweeters in the same niche as you.
So which ones do you use to gain more followers?

Thanks for sharing.
I love your list and use most of them. I like http://www.huitter.com/mutuality. It is a lot faster than twitter karma. Ooo Twitoria sounds neat. I\’m going to have to check that one out.

Twitter karma can take a time to load (especially when you have 15,000 followers!).
I shall try http://www.huitter.com/mutuality

Andrew, would you say that Social Oomph is better than TweetLater? I’ve heard of the latter but not the former. I need to organize my tweet strategy and am not sure which tool is better.
Thanks!

I like the Auto Un follow tool. Why should you follow those who dump you? – Cheers – Ray J.:Mobiltelefon uten abonnement

Exactly and you need to un-follow to get past the 2000 followers hurdle.

I’ve never heard of Social Oomph before, I’ll be sure to give it a try! Sounds very handy.
So what’s your opinion of Echofon? I know it’s not exactly a Twitter Tool, but it’s so perfectly integrated within Firefox: it deservers a mention in a comment, to be honest! The Echofon popups are small and don’t stand in the way of your work. It’s nice.

.
Check out http://echofon.com/twitter/firefox/. It’s a FireFox extension with which you can easily check if you got new public messages or direct messages. I like my tweets unobtrusive while I’m working

Tweetdeck is a great application to use if you get and manage a ton of tweets and want to organize them so you can view the most important first.

I like the Twitter Tools and the Tweetmeme button the best. The growth of people using Twitter is nothing short of amazing. I wish I had thought of it.

I’ve been using TweetMeme so far, as that seems to be a popular plugin.
But I see so many Twitter plugings that I don’t know which ones are best or the differences between them.
This list definitely helps.
